    No timer and plants

So I'll be gone three days this weekend and I have a few plants I am growing in a 5g until my 29g is ready. I don't have a timer yet and I'm not sure how my plants will do. Can anyone give me a tip or some knowledge please? Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

Tank should be fully set up next week other then stock. So far all I have going into the tank is one golden killie and MAYBE a blue crayfish. Any...

    New Tank too little light?

Dam I hope my heater doesn't give .. LEDs are. Very much so capable of growing plants so don't bin the idea so quick. Might I recommend fluval 24b. Capable of growing almost anything for $120. Also the filter it comes with isn't really to good. You should try to get a filter that's rated more...

    New Tank too little light?

Hey bud first off I'd like to say nice looking tank ! Second, I bought the same kit recently. I got it knowing the lights were trash because the heat it comes with alone is 45 dollars and the glass would be around 60. Can't believe I got the whole kit for 65$ :p. Anyways, the rest aren't really...

Wow* you have two SAE's and still a problem? I think they are more string algae eaters. What about the Chinese? And let's say you keep you lights on from morning to night, say 14 hours. If I were you I would cut hours off. Maybe around 11? Also, if you have a timer and are able to control it...

Oh man so it was perfect that's great. Some vinegar and water should take the stains right out. If you love the work maybe you should go for a natural planted look. It's another thing to love and care for besides your fish :D and sounds like algae. Maybe reduce hours of light or get some SAE or...

Bud there's a great video on YouTube to show you the specific order each box goes. I can't put a link because I'm on my data and don't want to waste it all :p but just search YouTube fluval 306 review. I think it is second result. It's a 5 or 6 minute video with a middle aged man. Btw, how do...

    Crayfish not eating

So I have had my crayfish for about half a year now and I haven't had a problem with him until recently. About 4 weeks ago he molted his Exo Skelton. He didn't eat for a few days before that which is normal, and then he ate almost his entire skeleton. Now, three weeks after removing the bits of...

If your decide to make a thread let me know, I'd be interested in following :). Actually I was thinking about making a little summer business out of it. Thanks. I've seen the spray foam. Although it looks easy I don't know if I would trust it. I feel like it would fall apart in a year and deteriorate. What i did wasn't to hard, just time consuming, but it was definitely fun Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice
