Where should I get Limnopilos naiyanetri?

I know http://msjinkzd.com/ had them from time to time. It doesn't look like she had any right now. If you email her, she might be able to get them in.

    Cayenne Pepper and Pond Plants

Update: I made a mixture of cayenne pepper, a little bit of tobasco I had laying around, and hot water and let it sit in a spray bottle overnight. I sprayed some into a tank that has some angelfish culls to see if it appeared to effect them. They did not seem to be bothered and in fact, they...

    Cayenne Pepper and Pond Plants

Unfortunately I haven't. I am planning on trying it, but I need some plants to try it on. I am planning on taking a cutting from one of my aquarium plants and giving it a shot before I put my pond plants back out there.

    Cayenne Pepper and Pond Plants

Ok, I'm not entirely sure where to post this, so I put it here for now. I am seeing up several tub ponds in my bank yard for the summer. We frequently allow our two dogs to roam the back yard. I put some of my plants in the tubs today and in no time, the dogs ate 3 of them. Obviously, this...

    Crystal Red Shrimp **PLEASE REPLY**

Crystal Red Shrimp sell better than black. As for the Neos, try to find Carbon Rili shrimp. They look a bit like the crystal blacks. If you don't care about the black, neos come in every color imaginable.

    Crystal Red Shrimp **PLEASE REPLY**

You might want to consider Red or Black, not both, since they will cross breed with each other. I would suggest picking one color of crystal and a color Neocaridina so you don't have to worry about cross breeding.

    Marble Caves

It's been weathering outside in the rain for a few years now. I'm site the rain has taken care of any cleaning agents by now. I'll likely boil the pieces before putting them in the tank.

    Marble Caves

I am looking to start a tank for some julidochromis transcriptus. This will be my first cave dweller tank. I've seen pictures of stacked rocks for the caves. I have a slab of marble that I'm considering cutting up and stacking. Does anyone dose any issues with this?

    Tanganyikan Crabs

I am trying to find a supplier for fully aquatic crabs from Lake Tanganyika, other than Panther Crabs. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Tiger Barbs

Sharks (I have a rainbow but are similar) tend to like long tanks as they are quite active swimmers. A 29 would probably be a bit small. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

What is your pleco's favorite food?

I make my own gel food out of peas, spinach, spirulina, agar agar, and a little shrimp. They go nuts for it. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Angelfish Safe Algae Eaters?

I've had bristlenose and swords. They are fine as long as the leaves are healthy. If they start to die, they will eat them. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Green Spotted Puffer Tank Mates

It's always touch and go, putting anything in with puffers. Most puffers are brackish and mollies will tolerate those conditions. I keep pea puffers (completely fresh water) currently and I do not keep anything else in the tank. They are great snail eaters. Sent from my SCH-I545 using...

    2.5 gallon... planting possible?

I would get some very small driftwood sticks and cover them in java moss. Some people make trees for small tanks like this. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Pygmy sunfish and Flagfish

Hey everyone, I have some Everglades Pygmy Sunfish (elassoma evegladei) in a tub outside. When I bring them in for the fall, I'll be putting them in a tank. I've read that they do well in a species only tanks but can be kept with certain tankmates. I'm looking to see if anyone has kept these...
