    Brown Dirt All over tank

Oh, last I tested (about 2 days ago) all levels where normal, nitrate was a bit high so I changed 25 percent of the water. I did accidently leave the light on all night 2 days ago. Could one night do it? Should I not leave the light on all day, just let natural light in? Thanks

    Problems with Glofish?

I found one of my guppies dead this morning and he was healthy as can be last night. I suspect foul play was involved. I have a funny feeling he was murdered by one of my 2 glofish. Has anyone ever had any problems with Glofish? I read that they are peaceful, but they seem kind of mean (1 more...

Treating ICH with heat and salt

When treating ICH with heat and salt, is the proper method raising the tank temp. to 86 degrees and adding salt everyday? How much salt per gallon and how often? I have a 29 gallon freshwater tank with 2 glofish, 2 guppies, 1 wag red platy, and 1 raphael catfish. Thanks

    ICK

You think the fish I have can handle the heat? If no action is taken, ich will kill all the fish for sure right? Darn, the heater I have is the kind that only keeps the tank at 78 all the time, no adjustments. Looks like I'll be getting a new heater!

    Cloudy Water

Thanks. I did put Prime in the tank when I first got it. Should I put some more in do you think? Should I change a small amount of the water to be on the safe side, or do you think fish will make it? It's just that the kids have already become so attached to these fellas, their hearts would...
