Has anyone set up a 125 or there abouts tank with 72" lights. I would like to, but am having some trouble finding them. Stores don't carry them and shipping them costs around $25. Is there a way I could get them without ordering them online or do I have to pay the shipping?

You may want to check with our sponsors for any specials. Both Captive Raised Corals and Captive Reefs carry VHO bulbs.

I think you'd have better luck with 3 metal halides instead. 6' tubes are impractical, difficult to change, and put out uneven light (IMO). The start up cost is high but your reef will be what you expect rather than a disappointment.
MH is THE best choice for a reef. I may get flamed for that comment but those that have them will agree.

I have 72" VHO tubes but the shipping is pretty harsh on something that long. Take a look at the 72" metal halide/pc hoods i have on special right now; any one of those would set you up nicely.
