thats a cool tank but not the one i had in mind the thread the link was on had 2 tanks one was L shaped i beleive with lots of coral, the other was just a huge about 800 gallon one built into either a garage or pantry. it had like eight or more metal halides on it, with lots of sps corals. It could have been the acua scaping guy.

naw thats not it this one was a link from a thread to this guys website all about his tank again cool tank though the tank may have been 1400 gallons now that i think of it

The Guys Name is Steve Weast.. He has an 850g tank.. I have personally seen it and We are actually having a BBQ, Auction and Raffle over there in July... The tank is extremely awesome.... If you do a search on this board you should be able to find the post.. Hell you could probably google his name and come up with links that way..

I've seen links to this tank a few times and it still seems to amaze me.
800gallons 8O .
I thought my 180 was big..ha!

:eek2:
Wow, I'm glad the link was found. Now, I need to pick my jaw up off the floor and figure out how to convert the spare room into a tank

The only thing I dont like about it is the trim around the tank (wall side). To me its to thick and it takes away and makes your I look at the trim. Other than that, unbelievable!!!!

When you have that much lighting, giving off a huge heat signature and jacking up the electricity bill...do you ever have the DEA or police knocking on your door to make sure you aren't trying to grow a forest of mary jane? (just remembering all those cop shows where they would cruise over houses with helicopters equipped with heat sensing equipment).

well i don't think he has to worry unless he lives in an area prone to that. haha

i remember when this post was up here before. what an amazing setup.
