OK, what's going on!?! My fish are acting strange tonight. One of the bigger cardinal tetras now has a little hiding place in my tank, and won't let the other ones get near it. It keeps on charging and nipping them. I've seen them chase each other once in a while, but never in a territorial way like this. Am I doing something wrong? Someone once told me that when the water parameters are wrong, fish act screwy. I checked, my pH is about 6.4, my gh is around 9%, my temp is 75F. Are my fish ok?

I couldn't find much info, but the females are supposed to be a bit larger, or at least plumper, than the males. perhaps she's getting ready to lay eggs, or already has? I've never done this, and only did a quick search on breeding habits, but your water parameters seem to be right on for breeding. Up to you to search from here, but it may be breeding behavior.
