Hello! This is the first angel I have kept, he was doing fine earlier and I tested the water multiple times and everything appears to be okay with it, last night I had an orange von rio tetra pass though which is the original reason as to why I tested it, but this morning I wake up and see my angel like this, if anybody knows what’s wrong with him, or if there’s anyway to help him, please let me know!

UPDATE: i added melafix, came home and there was another deceased von rio.

The Angel looks like a very small one which could be art of it's problem. Really small Angels do not usually handle transit very well. What are your water parameters? How long have you had the fish ( Angel and Tetras)?

I only had them for 5 days, unfortunately 2 tetras and now the Angel have passed away, so now I am down to 5 tetras and they all seem happy and healthy but I’m currently trying to figure out what was wrong with the other 3 and if it was something within the tank, do you have any idea what could cause it?

I can't speak for the Tetras past a hunch. If you had too many males and not enough females, the males will fight with each other for breeding rights and what you lost were probably males. Anytime there is a water change, that spurs on breeding in many fish species so 5 days makes sense for this. With the Angelfish, I believe it was just too small and probably not healthy when you got it. There is a natural death amount in Angelfish spawns which is why I would never buy one less than a quarter body size. By that time, they have worked out the natural selection of the line. You should also be aware that there is a virus many Angelfish have which kills them rather quickly. You want to quarantine any Angelfish for at least 4-6 weeks before putting them into your main tank. Most of the medicines that treated the virus are no longer available so it's very hard to cure and it is contagious so you don't want your other fish to catch it.
