anorexic damsel?

i put two yellow tail damsels in my tank like over three weeks ago and i have never seen one of them eat. i dont get it, if he wasn't eating he'd surely be dead by now. whats he eating? they are the only two things in my 90 gal tank. why doesnt he eat? i feed them brine shrimp and i tried some dried food but only one of them eats. whats going on?

It can take a month or two for a fish to starve to death. Why won't they eat?? Some fish never recover from the trauma of cature and transport out of the ocean and this sometimes manifests itsel;f by a reluctance to eat something it's never seen before. Try something like zooplankton (Sweetwaters) and soak it in garlic or selcon or one of the vitamin supplaments, thei will sometimes entice a fish to eat.

they also could be eating off the bottom of your tank.
