I was feeding my african dwarf frogs and I saw this little, itty bitty thing swimming next to my frog. it was maybe a quarter of an inch big and had little dots for eyes (I've seen these before but figured they must be baby fish) and it had stripes down the back and was transparent for the most part. Is this a baby fish? It looks like one just....really tiny.. I touched it and it swam into the rocks, but it was on the edge of the glass on the bottom.

I know that fry are tiny but this is.....TINY. It's almost near impossible to see o.o My molly babies are like 2 times as big as that and you can see the skin and everything on them already, this is like... 2 eyes and a body. nothing else.

what are the possible fish that could have layed eggs, at the store or in your tank, (mollies have live birth the fry are larger then egg layers, it could have been an egg hached)

They might be danios, they look like they knock up one in particular often. Never saw any eggs though, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen... I just hope they live long enough to make it to adult hood ._. They'll get picked off sooner or later if they're found bigger

it is danios....and what you explained is exactly what they look like, they are extremely tiny and take about a month to even recognize them, i'm surprised you were able to see it, usually they get eaten quickly!

congrats! :D :D
