Any idea what these are??

Hello,

So underneath one of my leaves, I noticed some little black dots.... I'm thinking eggs of some kind.
Who's the more likely culprit --white cloud minnows or mystery snails?

Or something else??

Snails. White cloud eggs are clear when they are fertilized and white when they are not fertilized or are dead.

Not mystery snails. Mystery snails lay eggs in clumps above the water line.

I was thinking actual snails instead of eggs. I can't get a clear pic when I enlarge the pic.

Interesting this is the exact debate I was having in my head.
They weren't there this morning so either they got eaten or if they were tiny snails, they could have dispersed...

Right now I have kind of ideal conditions for snails so I was leaning towards snails but it was below the water line.

I'll let you all know when I find out!
