Hi again.

I have been searching high and low for a background for my aquarium. I really don't like the fake looking ones with the rocks and plants and things like that. I don't like the plain blue ones either.

Does anyone know of a website that makes interesting backgrounds?

The theme in my fish tank is a skeleton rock band. [haha]

Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Photoshop!

Make your own. Or get a friend who knows photoshop to do it. Preferably a friend with a commercial printer and laminant. ;)

try aluminum foil, crumple it up into a ball, and then smooth it out again

My daughter sponge-painted two pieces of foam board from the craft store, which I glued together to cover the back of my 55-gal. She used three different colors and just did a random sponging over it. I sprayed it with a clear varnish and voila!

My other tanks have mirrors. I have used the crinkled aluminum foil technique as well.

well if you are shooting for design the above suggestions are awesome to do, easy to make and absolutely cool looking for the observers. If you want to exentuate (bearfan is gunna beat me for this word) get an all black backround, so the observation is only on the tank decoration. Have fun! 8)

I particularly loved the mirror suggestion, so I went to ebay. [ebay is the devil] and bought mosaic glass tiles. They are so pretty, and so cheap!

I wish I had a kid to make me a background :)

Everyone rocks!
