Hello everyone. I'm looking into buying an aquarium table. Can anyone reccomend a particular brand? Or what have you heard about them, good or bad. I've seen the Sea Mist Aquarium Coffee Tale (36" X 36") advertised on many web sites but I don't know anything about them. Any advice you could give would be a big help. Thanks, Chris. :)

One thing to factor when looking at these things is how easy they are to access when it comes to water changes, daily feedings, etc. I have seen photos of these things as well and must say that I would have to see one first hand to get a real feel for how easy/hard it would be to maintain. Also how does the tank get its light? Are there lights on the sides of the top? Does it just get the light from the room? Whats the filtration method?

It will be a great conversation pice but like I said above how easy it is to do the daily and weekly items to it would be a big factor before I would get one.

I believe most have an UGF and that concerns me. They appear to be difficult to access also. The main concern I have is the sanity of the inhabitants, with cups and constant movement near them as well as possibly a loud tv or stereo... just a concern. The method of lighting is also a concern, it cant be overhead.... Go with a conventional tank, IMO.
