Automatic fish feeder

If you are talking about the block type that you just put into the tank and they slowly dissolve and release food, those only really work if you have acidic water. ( It's in the small print on some of them. ) If you are talking about the ones that are plug ins and clip onto the tank, they are more reliable but are subject to not working if the power goes out. You do need to be careful with what types of foods you put in them.
The question is, how long do you need the feeder to do the feeding? 🤔
 
I have a 20 gallon and would need it for about 2 weeks.
Best would be having someone do the feeding for you every 2 to 3 days. I pre-make packets of food so that all they need to do is pour it in. No guesswork on their part. ;) You just tell them "not to add any more food no matter how much the fish look hungry." If that's not an option, I'd do the electric clip on. (y)
