Good day, is there anyone that can assist my Banded Leporinus was still fine last night but this morning he is swimming funny and not eating at all. I am busy doing a water change to see if that will help is there any other advice please?

Thanks my hardness is a bit to high I am fixing this by doing a 30% water shop every 4 days. But my other fish are 100%
Clown loaches, Parrots, Silver Dollars and my Bala shark all good and the other Banded Leporinus is also 100%

The Carbonate (KH) is 40

If your other fish are 100%, it may be that this one is getting harassed by the other leporinus or may alone be infected with an internal parasite or infection. The only way to know if this is a harassment issue is to place the effected fish in a separate tank to see if it straightens up. If it still is swimming funny in the new tank and not feeding, I would suggest treating with Kanaplex ( Kanamycin) if your water pH is above 7.0 or Maracyn 2 ( minocyline) if your pH is below 7.0. Both of these meds work on internal bacterial issues and are absorbed through the skin and gills so the fish does not need to be eating to be getting the benefits of these meds.

Hope this helps. (y)

Hi there, ok water quality great but it seems that my other leporinus is harassing this one is there any advice he is eating now but hiding the entire time I put food where he can reach it and he eats well but the other one is really making my upsed. I put in stress medicine but does not really see a difference.

If the fish is getting harassed, separation is the answer. You either rehome the hider or rehome the aggressor. My guess is that they are both the same gender so it will be a losing battle keeping them together. :(
