Hi! So I currently have a 10 gallon tank and a 40 gallon tank but I am gonna update to a 75 gallon tank for the fish in the 40 gallon. But I was curious on opinions for the best places to buy good priced gravel/sand since of course a 75 gallon takes a lot of it. I was also wondering on reliable places for other basics as well. Lights, heaters, filters, etc.

I buy aquarium gravel from Home Depot or Lowes. Small grain rounded river gravel makes very good substrate.
I think the last time I bought gravel from Home Depot, it was a little over $7 for 50 pounds. Look for the gravel in the garden department.
If you live near a commercial rockyard you're likely to find Pea Gravel for half that price

The big box hardware stores also sell LED lights that are suitable for aquariums, at a much lower price.

As for heaters and power filters fish stores & online vendors are probably your best bet.
