I have a male betta, a dwarf gourami, two glofish and a painted glassfish. I have heard Chichlids are very aggressive and eat other fish but I have also heard of people putting them in community tanks. I wanted to get an electric yellow chichlid to add some more color to the tank but I wasn't sure if I could do it or not.
Anyone know?

Electric yellow labs are not appropriate for your tank. Not all cichlids are super-aggressive, but many, such as labs, belong in tanks specifically designed to meet their needs that do not have any of the "common" aquarium inhabitants in them. They will tear such fish apart.

On a tangent- please do not buy any more painted glassfish. These fish have their "paint" injected, and of those that survive the process their lifespans are greatly reduced.

What size is the tank? You may be able to try some of the dwarf cichlids, like Bolivian rams, if it is very large.

aggression aside, you have mostly softwater asians so fish physical needs should come into play before you even look at if it "plays nice" or not

You are already at capacity for 10&15 gallon tanks...
so tank size would be a helpful bit to see what can even possible go.
