Black fuzzy algae... Oto cat doesn't eat it... help!

Hello, folks.

My live plants are being covered in a black, hairy algae (at least I think it's algae... Please tell me otherwise if I am wrong). My Oto catfish doesn't touch the stuff. What can I do to control this?

Here is a nice site that discusses algae. Sounds like you have Brush Algae but I dunno. Read up and hopefully it helps!
