I have 2 very pretty guppys in a 10 gallon brackish tank. I am curious as to what tank mates some of you may suggest. Clean-up crew ideas, top dweller ideas, and maybe another middle dweller idea.
Killies (gena Fundulopanchax, Aplocheilus etc.) would be perfect. They're kinda expensive, though. But many species thrive in brackish water.
Many others (Scats, Monodactylus, Archers) get HUGE. So not recommended. And, yeah. Puffers are not a good idea, obviously.
Let's see... http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/scateg.cfm?siteid=21&pCatId=954 has a few other ideas. The mollies, obviously. And they have two goby species that look like a lot of fun (Bumble Bee, Fan Dance) ! How about that? Tough to get gobies if you don't deal with SW (except the Violet Goby). Might be a real blast. They stay a perfect size for a 10G--1.5 inches and 3.5 inches respectively.
