My LFS has some nice looking pieces of christmas tree rock but not enough experience to tell me the lighting requirements etc.!! Does anyone know about this piece?thanks!!

The christmas tree worm has no lighting requirements. They are strict filter feeders and do not contain symbiotic algaes. The concern for light comes with the coral they commonly come with. Usually a porites of other encrusting SPS, which are not as light demanding as most other SPS corals. What is your current light set up? Your profile states a jbj system but no specifics.

Some say if the coral host dies so do the worms, others say it does not make a difference. Personally I have never kept them so I cannot offer an informed opinion on that part.
