Ok yesterday one of my clowns died, no visible signs of ich. Today spots are present on another one and he is having difficulty breathing, I am increasing the temp, 1 degree every 6 hours right now. Is there anything else I can do for him to ease his discomfort or just wait it out and pray for the little guy?

Water parameters ammonia 0ppm, nitrite 0ppm, nitrates 20ppm, temp currently 83, ph 7.4. Water change yesterday 50 %.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you are doing good. No salt for the Loach, as you will just make it worst. I would shy away from using any meds as well. Keep up on the heat, and you should see it getting better soon.

I never use salt, the loaches and I have 2 ADF's. I am also against meds unless no other options are left. I am such a suck I hate seeing anything suffer in any way. I've been sitting in front of the tank trying to talk him into feeling better. LOL.

Salt in low doses (1 tsp per gallon) won't hurt loaches at all or ADF's or plecos etc...

Regardless continue high temp for at least a week if not 2 after the last visible sign of ich. And when doing water changes make sure to do a good gravel vacuuming.
