I’ve ordered 7 2” discus. 1/7 of them came laying on its side in the bag. I went through the acclimation process and given it 12 hours and he’s still on his side at the bottom of my quarantine tank? Any suggestions?

Give it time. Discus lay on their sides when they get stressed. Shipping is stressful. As long as the other fish do not pick on it, just leave it be. You could add a divider to the quarantine tank so that the one fish is alone so it's even less stressed. Turn the light off and make sure the temperature is in the mid 80s. (y)

Any advice on how you quarantine discus?
The same as you would any other fish. In a separate tank, let them get adjusted to their new water, feeding schedule, foods, light hours, water change schedule, etc. How long? Well, there are parasites that have a life cycle of over 90 days. While they are rare in the hobby, they do exist in it so I suggest no less than 90 days.
I wrote this thread to explain the difference between a Hospital tank and a quarantine tank but it may help you understand what's going on. (y) Quarantine tanks and Hospital tanks, are they really different?
