Do crabs scratch acrylic tanks?

Do crabs scratch acrylic tanks? I want to get a few...

I am sure it's possible, seems like anything can scratch acryllic. But I doubt they would really mess it up.

I'd say that it's a definite yes. Plecos can eventually scratch the soft acryllic over time just by sucking on the walls. It can always be buffed out though.
