Do I need to drip acclimate my inverts?

My tank just finished cycling, so I bought two Atlantic turbo snails and two hermits. I have them floating in my main tank for now. Do I need to drip acclimate them? If not, how long should they float before I put them in the tank?

Also, I did not do a water change after my tank cycled. Should I still do this?

It is recommended to drip acclimate inverts. In general, they are more sensitive than fish to changes in water parameters. I'd do a 25% water change tomorrow, get those inverts in and settled first.
PS- Most people drip acclimate all new live stock. Good luck.

i drip every thing. every thing drips for 2 hours. if i got a starfish it would go for over 8.

Same as WasOrks15. I drip everything. I don't do the full 2 hours. But i do at least 45 min to and hour. Star fish and things that are more delicate i drip longer.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I am still dripping at the moment. It's not as difficult as I thought! I should just throw away the water that I am dripping after I am finished, right? I didn't think it would be a good idea to put it back in my tank since it will be mixed with the LFS water.

Yes, discard all of the water used for acclimating.
