My two false perculas (I think one is a female and the other a male) seem to have a nest together in the corner. Well maybe not a nest, but its their favorite place to hang out. They make a little bed in the sand and stay there all day long together and sleep there at night too. They hardly ever leave and when they do, they don't go far! Is this normal? I was thinking that they may feel insecure because I don't have an anemone in the tank, so they stay in their little bed instead. Anyone else have fish that do this?

Well the male fish just wants to lie around all the time, and the girl just thinks the male is soooo Hot that she won't leave his side. She is his LOVE slave.

My clowns do the same, make a mound out of the sand and hang out in the "ditch" of sorts. From my limited experience (going on three months), it is normal.
