Beautiful, but maybe I'm blind.. I can't see any eels!

No, your not, because I can't see any water either.

I like it Lisa. what kind of rock is that? will this be SW eels or fresh? are there even any FW eels around?

The water is in the tank.....it is saltwater.
The rock is what we refer to as "texas holey rock".
The eels are in other tanks waiting for the cycle to finish in
their new home. The inhabitants will be a full grown snowflake,
full grown jewel moray, and two yellow headed fimbriated moray.

They eat shrimp, squid, krill, clam, scallops, small fish and crabs.

They can attempt it, but it has been my experience that they wont buck the current. Also, none of my eels has ever been much into escaping, the tank does have a lid and eggcrate on the back, I feel that it will be sufficient. Of course, now that I have said that, one of them will decide to make me eat my words..........

Yeah. my snowflake seemed content in his new home and I had about stopped worrying about finding him in the floor. Then, one day as I was watching the tank, he swam up to the skimmer outlet, went through it onto the top of the tank, and into the floor. He bit me while I was trying to herd him back into the tank. Then he bit me again as I tried to get him off the floor. I finally got him into a net and back in the tank where he has stayed since. 8O . Needless to say, I have a few new names for that one  .

Your tank looks great Hara. I can't wait to see it with the eels in there.

very cool 8) too bad my hubby considers eels snakes and will not allow them
