I have an eheim 2233 canister filter on my saltwater tank and i was wondering if anyone has used the eheim surface extractor that they make. I was thinkng of picking one up but wanted some feedback first. Are they quiet. And advice would be good.

prob wouldnt hurt dont know much about them and guessing nor does anyone else most dont use canisters though

i know that but i was going to continue using the filter until i get my sump. Just need to save some money for it

i hear ya but a sump dont need to be all that but if ya want it save and buy it
i use a $15 rubbermaid tub for mine

right but then i have to buy a pump and overflow box and stuff like that. Right now this is cheaper for me
