Has anyone purchased fake aquarium plants from Aquafaux?
I'm having a difficult time with my planted tank - either my plants are doing poorly, or they're doing great but I'm fighting algae like crazy. I know I just have to find the right balance, but right now I have a lot going on in my life and I just don't have the energy to become a light sleuth. So I decided to buy some nice large aquarium plants for the tank, soft leaves and the like. One I purchased LOOKS nice but it looks a lot like a fake plant you'd buy in a store that's NOT safe for fish, and the other one had black stuff, almost like soot, come off on my fingers from the base. It's an Anubias plant, so not meant to be on a shelf somewhere...both plants have a "Made in China" tag on them which is also giving me bad vibes. I've contacted the company, but no reply as yet.
Does anyone else here have any experience in purchasing from them, and quality of products?
Thanks.
