I was wondering if I could use the fake plants from Michaels in my tank instead of the aquarium plants?
If so, how would I pretreat them?
I know the bunches are larger and fuller for the $$

Thanks in advance :)

The craft place?

Umm, I really don't know, but I'd be afraid they are treated w/ something that would be harmful. If you can find out what they are made of, and what treated with, maybe you could.

What is the lighting like in your tank? Is it just the lights that came with the hood? Then you will want to stick with plants that do ok with low lighting.. If you have upgraded and you have good lights then you have more options.

I persononally like plants that grow easily in low lights.. kind of fool proof, like java moss.
