I just bought a feather duster i was wondering where a good spot to put him is like in the live rock or in the sand at the bottom thanks Jester aslo what types of anomes does a clown bond with I got one that is mostly light purple withdark purple tips long tubes but my clown has not gone close to it

Im assuming you didn't even bother to research any on these 2 animals. What kind of lighting, and how long has your tank been set up? Anemones need strong light, good flow, and very clean water. Sounds like a condylactus anemone not a natural host to any clowns.

no not much research i listened to the lfs probbly not a good idea but so far so good with them I have power compact florecents 260 watts set up for 6 months what about where to put the duster thanks

Some place them on rocks, others in the sand. I would put it wherever you would like it. You might have enough light to support the anemone, just feed it once a week. Also make sure your checking your water parameters.

I just put him on top of the sand should i burry the backend in the sand at all and how long does it take for them to come out of the tube he was out at the lfs but has not been out once yet ove 8 hours now thanks
