I'm currently waiting for the plants to grow out I've only had it for about a month now the only thing I have planted is java moss Pearl weed and dwarf hair grass and I only have some pest snails and amono shrimp in there I likes my deals for some fish in it that will take care of the pest snails but not eat the shrimp.

I can't think of any fish that will eat pest snails and not shrimp. An assassin snail might leave shrimp alone, but if it gets hungry shrimp could be on the menu.

What other plans do you have fish wise?

I'm thinking about getting Chinese algae eaters and a reticulated hill stream loach and that's about all I got right now I'm only going to get two of both because I have hair algae and Blackbeard algae in the back of the tank

No Chinese algae eater they grow to big and are aggressive. You could do hillstream loaches tho.:)

Is there another kind of algae eater you would recommend instead of a Chinese algae eater for getting rid of hair algae in the tank

There are many different fish that eat hair algae. I personally if you like the look of the reticulated hillstream loach, you might be able to get a group of them(3-6). Then you could get a group of top dwelling fish like danios or white cloud minnows and that would be a nice tank. You could instead of the hillstream loaches get panda garras, I had a duo of them but I would only recommend getting one or a large group as they didn’t get on.:)
