I recently purchased a freshwater moray eel which turns out is actually better off in brackish water. I have him in with my 2 green spotted puffs and 2 mollies. I made him a cave and he went right to it. No signs of stress other than he's not eating. He is veryfriendly and will come right out to check out your hand, but he wont eat. I tried live shrimp, snails, baby fry, I even put cooked shrimp on a small wire and dangled it in his face. The shrimp sit on his head and walk across his open mouth, he just sits there. Like I said, he doesn't seem stressed out and I have read that they eat like snakes and go weeks without eating, escpecially after a move, I just want to know if anyone else is familiar with this behavior.
