Had Ich

I recently had Ich an medicated with copper safe. This seemed to do the trick. now i'm wondering do i have to remove the copper safe or should i just leave i in the tank and let it putter itself out. If i have to remove id what is the best way? Water changes or carbon?

Water changes or carbon?

I think both would be in order. I've never used this product, but the word "copper" scares the heck outta me. many plants die from copper, many fish don't tolerate it either, I avoid anything with copper involved!
