Heater Problems

After all the problems I am having with my Stand Today I come home and Find that my tank has dropped 2F in temp and I checked the heater in case I bumped it and It didnt come on.. Its a 2-3m old 300w Won Pro Heat Titanium heater.. I had an old 200w Ebo that couldnt keep the heater at 80F However I have a 100w Visa Therm heater that heats the tank well..

What Is the best quality heater out there.. I am tired of Broken Heaters.. Ebo is out of business so I can't get that heater Fixed.. And I hear these Won Heaters are known for going bad..

I am beginning to hate this Hobby.. Always something to go wrong Every day.. I have always bought the best equiptment so I didnt have this issue but they still seem to happen..

Well even with your problems on the pro heat, I would still buy nothing else. I have 6 of them and in two years i have yet to have a single one fail. with the exception of Summer time when the tanks heat up on there own, in the winter my tank stays excactly at 79 deg, dosn't go up or down by more than one degree. I would get another.

I have switched all my service accounts to the Won heaters. I use them in all my tanks here. I haven't had any problems with them so far. Nothing is infallable though and you might have gotten a bad one. I wouldn't buy anything else. Your Won heater came with a 1 year warranty anyway. If whomever sold you the heater will not stand behind it, I will. Send it to me and I'll replace it and get it covered under warranty. Include a copy of the invoice if you have it.
