Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Hey!
I've acquired a 75g and I finally have it exactly where I want it and the parameters have been consistently amazing! With that being said, I would hate to introduce a new fish or plant that could possibly carry a disease that could destroy all that hard work. OR if a fish starts showing signs of disease and I need to remove the fish to be isolated to not spread the sickness. I'm very short on space, and depending on the suggestions I get, I may see if I can find space.
I want to have a hospital/quarantine tank I can use but I don't know what my options are. I have a 5 gallon bucket that's only been used for my aquarium, I have an older 5 gallon tank that would need cleaning and such and I could use my sponge filters I have. I just have no where to place the darn thing. I would assume for a hospital tank you'd need it to also be cycled and have safe parameters which I am capable of doing, but it's the space. So, does anyone have ANY recommendations on what I could do?
Thanks!
