Ive been heat treating ich for 3 days at 88 and a Molly that didnt have it now has it. Is it normal for this to happen during the heat process?

It sure can happen; takes about 5 days or so for the ich population to really reduce. During that time some may manage to grab hold of other fish in the tank. While I haven't had other fish show signs, when I used it the fish who DID have ich continued to show a few more spots until day 5 or so.

Thank you Allivymar for your help. I would also like to say great job on the Ich article you wrote. Its like a cure for the black plague. Thanks again.

Heh, your welcome. I was pretty amazed when I discovered most ich infestations can be treated so simply; there is SO much crap out there to treat it with and much of it deadly, with most of the rest just useless.

Of course there is always the strain which is not susceptible to high temps, just as there are those not susceptible to the meds, but in both cases its pretty infrequent :)
