I went to the LFS, and seen a tank labled 'albino ID shark'...though I couldnt find any info on the net. Well, anyway, does anyone have any? How big do they get?....Im guessing theyre pretty shy, cause all of them were hiding in PVC pipes in the tank. they were all white, with red eyes, and about 3". Thx for any info.

It could possibly be an Albino red tailed shark ( labio Bicolor), it is an albino version of the red tailed labio or shark. if it is, it comes from Thailand and it grows to about 4.7 inch ( 12cm ).

I though that too, but it didnt have any red tail....just pure white. Is it possible for a albino red-tail to have no 'red-tail'? :?

I don't know to be honest, i have never seen one without red fins. But you never know :?
maybe some body else will have the answer :D keep your fingers crossed.

Oh, and according to some other pages, ID Shark is a common alternate name for the Iridescent shark (probably coz iridescent is hard to spell! :D).

yes, thats it! Though it was albino. Damn, too bad they get huge 8O .....I wanted to get one. O well....Thx for the info! Ps-how fast do they grow?

I think they grow quite fast. A lot of ppl buy them coz they're neat-looking. But really wouldn't recommend it unless you see a 300-gallon aquarium in your future...

Of course, it wouldn't grow to 130 cm (4ft roughly) in a smaller aquarium, but it would certainly get too big to be comfortable.
