I am lusting in a big way (not like my male guppy, thank you! ) after panda corys or something similar, but since the molly eats (*#!#* everything possible in the tank, I don't know how in the world I would feed them without the molly grabbing it first. Is it possible to have a bottom feeder with mollys? Is it even necessary?

I lust after Panda cory's as well LOL, what a stunning little catfish. There is no problem at all in having cory's and mollies together, It is not necessary but it is nice seeing cory's rummaging around the bottom of a tank. i would not have just one though because corydoras like to be in groups. 3 would be good.

All you have to do is feed them sinking tablets, and I would recommend doing it after lights out. I adore corys. Be sure your substrate is not sharp, but is smaller, smooth gravel or sand, as they can damage their barbels. Like Terry mentioned, they prefer to school, and the more the merrier!

Generally, if i put the flake food in on one side of the tank, wait 1-2 minutes for the top feeders to go nuts there, I can sneak in some food on the other side of the tank that will make it to the bottom. This may only be practical with larger tanks, maybe not a 10 or 20. As metioned above, some sinking food works well too.

Cannot go wrong with Corys! everybody loves 'em!

That is what I did with the BioBlend food, which disappointed me because it sank so fast, but I would feed the other fish with flake, and then at the other corner use the BioBlend, which sank, and the corys could get to it. I alwasy fed them in the same spot, so they knew where to go when I opened the lid. Now, after almost 2 years, they are mainly nocturnal and I rarely see them except after lights out.

I just chunk all my food in at once. A pinch of Omega One, Some Hikari Tubifex, Hikari Algae wafers and a few shrimp pellets. Everyone has their own prefs and go to their own food. :)
