It's funny how one can read something and not actually read it. I have never heard the term dither fish until I read it here. Then...I "found" it in my book
. OK, so here's a question for all you tiny fish lovers out there. I have had my cardinal tetras for about four months now. I have a school of 9 cardinals in a 29 gallon tank. I also have 2 ottos (that's all I counted after 30 min, I think I lost a few
), and I put 2 corys in there just last night. I only have a 20W bulb in there, which is less than 1 watt per gallon. Water quality is almost perfect for them. I sit in front of my tank for at least 20 minutes a day, plus I walk back and forth in front of the tank during the evening. But they stay in the back of the tank and shoot around and hide when I'm around. Is this just how they are? Are there other fish I can put in there to make them feel more at ease?
