Just purchased a 150G tank.........

Wow, I believe that I just got a great deal on a 150G tank, stand, VHO lights and 3 HOB filters (inexpensive whisper X 3). Did I overpay at $300 USD? I plan on combining 2 of my FOWLR tanks (a 65G and 46G) into the 150G. I hope to begin a Reef tank in the 65G. I pick the 150G up on Saturday, and it is local for me. The tank is in great condition, no scratches or damage. Did I get a good deal?

Wow thats an awesome deal. Just don't make the same mistakes me and my roommates made. We were so excited about getting it set up we didn't really make sure the tank was set up properly. After putting 150 gallons in then having about 50 gallons on the ground. Then filling it back up once that problem was fixed and then having to drain all 150 then fillling back up just to realize that there was another new leak and just basically dealing with the leak(via a bucket). Not the way to go.

Make sure everything is secure and you have ALL the parts before you even start to think about putting water in.

I just did this about a month ago so if you have ANY questions ask them here, i didn't find this site until it was too late.

It holds water as it is full at the this time. It has been a cichlid tank up until now.
