Lighting

Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on lighting? I have a 150 gallon but I only want to illuminate 48". My husband and a friend are building a hood for it and I'd like to mount the lights into the hood. I want seperate plugs for atinics and regular lighting. I am only putting corals in the center of the tank...at 4 watts per gallon and illuminateing roughly 75 gallons...that should be around 300 watts give or take. Any good buys that you know of??? I only buy corals with moderate lighting requirements.

Interesing that you only want to light the middle area. WHen its done please post photos if you can.

I would first suggest looking at our various sponsors for retrofit lighting setups. If you want to power the actinics seperate from the regular bubls then you will need a dual ballast setup. Im sure at this point you know if you want to do MH, VHO, PC or T5 lighting.
