Wanted: looking for plants

I am looking for moss and other plants to put in my guppy tank, I am by no means an expert in planted tanks so I need something relatively easy to take care of.

I have loads of Najas indica, aka guppy grass available. It grows quite well in my 20 high under a regular FL strip light, even better under brighter lights in my larger tanks. It's a floating plant, but will root itself slightly if it stays in contact with the substrate (or a sponge filter) long enough but they aren't necessary for the plant's growth.

My tank is a 29 gallon
This is another thing I don't know much about but the writing on the bulb says 8,000k full spectrum daylight 17w 120v t8 (is that any good?)

An 8k bulb isn't much use for live plants, 6500 or 6700 is a better spectrum for them. T8 is regular fluorescent, and on a 29 would be rated as very low lighting. A T5 fixture would be better, Coralife makes a 2 14w bulb 24" freshwater aqualight that would be great for a 29. I used one on a 30 long for years, it grew Najas and hornwort quite well.
