i'm happy.

my redtail shark is all better and everybody else seems in much better shape. besides the cloudiness in the eyes of the RTS, i noticed that my clown loaches weren't nearly as active as they have been in past months. overall, the signs were mixed but they all strongly indicated a bacterial infection, so i decided to go ahead and treat my entire 29g....full dosage 8O . i thought this would be a problem with the loaches being sensative and all, but my cousin's husband and his dad (lfs owners) said that it wouldn't be a problem at all. i use mardel maracyn-two and they even gave me a good discount on it. first day, i dosed with only 5 tabs instead of six, but the rest of the days i did the full three, as the directions said. the loaches are much more adventerous again; before treatment they would hardly come out from behind the driftwood. the water is slightly cloudy now, so i have the job of water changes and replacing carbon over the next few days to get rid of that.

thanks to everybody that helped me identify and correct the problem. in about six years, this is the first time i've ever had to medicate and it went off without a hitch!

dang your lucky having family in the lfs buisness i wonder i wonder how much could you get off on a 20 gallon 8P

Congrats on having a sucsessful outcome. Its never nice or fun to have sick fish but it makes you feel so much better knowing that you could help them get well.
