My molly had babies about 4 days ago. I moved them to my 5 gal by themselves yesterday with a Discard-a-filter. I have been feeding them Hikari powdered baby food. Is this good for the babies? When do I give them live food, and what kind of live food? Also would a petstore buy them from me, I don't have enough room for all of them. They are really cute, some are calico, and some look like they may be dalmation. :D

Most LFS will take the fry when they are atleast an inch in length, which will take you a couple of months. I think it all depends on the store you are taking it to. Call around or stop in and ask them.

Good luck

In about a week they will be able to take crushed flake food. They grow pretty quick. My baby sail fin molly babies that are about a month old are all most an inch long now.
