molly sick! (pic)

can anyone tell me what happen to my molly? she doesn't move her tail (fin) when she swin .. only using her left and right fin to swim.
she keep her tail toward her body.....

oh no!

I just lost a little gold dust molly, she looked exactly the same way. Taill all crooked and barely moving. It seemed like a sizue, and she recovered from it for a few days, but died a week later after it happened again. It was really heartbreaking.

I'm by no means an expert, bt from what I read after she died it may be tuberculosis.

I hope your's recovers, shes sure a beautiful looking fish (silver lyretail molly?). You might try that Tea based formula and some salt in the water.

*sigh* Sure looks like piscine TB (you can see some pics and get some info about it here: http://www.fishpalace.org/Disease.html#External ). It recommends heavy duty broad spectrum antibiotics, but unfortunately by the time the fish starts bending like that it may be too late.

Do be sure to wash your hands well after having them in that tank. If it is piscine TB, there is an infection that can be passed along to you (go check this link: http://www.aquariumadvice.com/viewtopic.php?t=10620 )
