Okay...as many of you know, we just finished building a house. We are closing on the 14th
which means I have to move the tank. Which means....I get to re-scape it. Now..I just re-scaped it like two months ago. I did this knowing that I would be moving soon and used it as a trial run. I loved the results, but feel that I can do better.
Now...what I have to work with. We are breaking down the 120 and moving most of it into the 175gal. That means that I have over 550 pounds of live rock to work with! (oh...we will also be selling off some rock for those in the dallas area that might be interested.)
Anyway...what I was thinking is that I would use pvc as the base, but instead of creating a rack for it to sit on...Think more of a flag pole. Then anchor the rock to it with zip ties and epoxy. Obviously the largest pieces would be a the bottom for the most support. I could even put an arm on it at a 45degree angle (up) for a shelf.
What does everyone think?
