Murdering Filter

I have a Tetra Whisper Power filter and I came home just now and one of my new fancy guppys is wrapped around the tube part of the pump. Is this an odd occurance? Or did he die towards the bottom and in the process of floating around got stuck?

Oh, and another thing- his mouth is wide open like frozen in this silent scream *sniffle*

lol, I would assume that the fish the fish was dead already and it was floating around until the filter got him. I have not had a death in quite some time in my Fresh Water Tank, but that does occur.

yea i have had that happen a couple times, the pull of hte filter is not enough to get a living fish stuck to it, they could wiggle their way off of it. unless of course it was already sick and weak.
