Hi, I am trying to set up a fish tank measuring 120 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm, which holds 93 liters, on a TV unit made of MDF (I guess). The left and middle sections of the TV unit sit directly on the floor, as indicated in blue. However, the middle section, which has a door opening, is not directly connected to the top. Instead, there is a wooden/mdf panel that runs diagonally from the left to right providing support to the top, as shown in the next 3 pictures. It appears to me that the weight from the center is distributed to the left and right by the support panel underneath, but I'm not entirely sure. My question is whether this unit can safely hold a weight of approximately 130 kg.

Appreciate your help which will help me to make my decision. TIA1000161159.jpg

Water and electronics are a bad combination. Should the tank leak or you spill water during maintenance you risk losing the TV and anything underneath the tank. My advice, either move the tv higher or replace the tank with a nice collection of books. I lost 1/3 + of my valuable fish book collection to a leak in a tank so I am always leery of tanks on anything other than a stand made for fish tanks. 🤔
