I have a 140 (soon to be) fish/reef setup. I have 120lbs. of livesand and about 100lbs. of liverock. Want a dsb but after alot of research have decided to use my sump for the dsb. The sump is 30 gal. and protein skimmer, heater and pumps are included. I would say I have 20 gal. left unused. I do not have any filter material or bio balls in the sump. How do I stablize the sand in the middle section of the sump without interfering with the output pump for the return water? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Nancy :?

a lot of wet/dry filters come with dividers with a block filter sponge. I have 2 wet dry filters and they both came with dividers and filter sponge. Check with your LFS for dividers. I know the LFS around me sell them individually. this will keep your sand in place.
