The newest addition to the 10 gallon hex, my angelfish is not shy at all and very active, he is always following the little cory herd around the decorations (he thinks he's a catfish). He still hasnt gotten the jist of flake food and it takes him a few tries to get it down (anything wrong with this?). He is still around nickle size and I plan to move him to my planted 20 gallon when its set up and cycled.

That is a great looking angel. They have surprisingly small mouths so they often have a bit of trouble with getting food down unless it is really tiny. I have had great success with Hikari Micro Pellets, which are practically powder, but was all my baby angels would comfortably get down. Frozen bloodworms posed no problem, though, LOL!

Will you replace the angel with another top/middle swimmer?

I got some bad news, last night, an ornament fell on top of the little angel, crushing him  . And convieniently it was on the day after the warranty expired :(

Oh, that sucks! I'm sorry :( - he was such a nice looking angel too.

What IS it recently with members of this forum and our deadly tank ornaments??? :?

I am so sorry about that! I am one who lost a baby angel to a hollow ornament when it got trapped inside, so I know how you feel. :(

Endgame, I am so sorry! I've seen pics of the hex tank--what ornament was it? All my ornaments are on the ground and they are going to stay that way!!!

Oh no :( If one of my angels was crushed I'd be...well...crushed LOL

Its a shame you're not closer Endgame; I'd love to give few a few of my lil guys.

I had taken that castle ornament out and put in a piece of fake driftwood vertically, little did I know it wasn't stable and fell over. Maybe the cories pushed it... hmm..
