Hi everyone! I want to buy a 220gal tank. I'm going to convert my 55gal to salt. What do you guys have for a setup? I want to try reverse-flow powerheads for one thing. Is this beter than the normal one? Anotherthing is the undergravel heaters. I never had much success keeping live plants. Would this help? I know I need better lights. Any tips would be great. My 55 right now is doing great. I've had the same fish for up to a yr.

I'm assuming you're talking about equipment for the 220g? Why reverse flow PH's? Unless you're running an undergravel filter, you don't need them. You don't want a UGF on this tank especially if you're going to have plants. The undergravel heaters are pretty expensive. I'm sure they work well though. You might ask corvuscorax about the plants.
